As some of you may have heard there is going to be a Legends Race at Oak Tree at Santa Anita on October 18,2008.

Racing Hall of Fame jockey Gary Stevens breezed seven horses on Sunday in preparation for the Living Legends race on October 18. The event will feature eight Hall of Fame jockeys competing in a race featuring pari-mutuel betting. “I’m ready,” Stevens said on Sunday. “I worked that many [horses] to make sure I’m dead fit. I’m as fit as I can get without riding a race, as fit as I ’ll get working horses.”
